Monovalent Human Monoclonal Antibody Specifically Binding to Receptor of Tumor Necrosis Factor-Related Apoptosis-Inducing Ligand and Antigen-Binding Fragment Thereof

Abstract

본 발명은 종양 괴사 인자-관련 세포사멸-유도 리간드의 수용체에 특이적으로 결합하는 인간 단일클론 항체 및 그의 항원결합 단편에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로는, 조합 항체 라이브러리(combinatorial antibody library) 및 파지 디스플레이(phage display) 기술을 이용하여, 정상인의 말초혈액 림프구(peripheral blood lymphocyte: PBL)에서 분리한, 종양 괴사 인자-관련 세포사멸-유도 리간드(TRAIL)의 수용체인 DR5에 특이적으로 결합하는 신규 인간 단일클론 항체, 그의 항원결합 단편(antigen binding fragment; Fab) 및 이를 함유하는 종양 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다.

본 발명에 따른 인간 단일클론 항체는 DR5와 결합하여 cross-linker없이 in vitro 에서 종양세포의 사멸을 유도하므로, 종양 치료에 유용하다.
