A Case of Velamentous Cord Insertion with Intrauterine Growth Retardation

Abstract

Some investigators have suggested that the velamentous cord insertion is related to preterm delivery, intrauterine growth retardation and congenital anomaly. We experienced one case of the velamentous cord insertion associated with intrauterine growth retardation and congenital heart disease at 36+2 weeks, so this case was reported with brief review of the literatures.
