dc.description.abstractTraumatic cardiac rupture is rates of morbidity and mortality. From Inlay to June, 1997. we experienced the five cases of traumatic cardiac rupture. In sex distribution. all 5 cases were male and ages 12 to 67.4 cases were injured traffic accident and 1 case was stab Injury Anatomic injuries included right atrial rupture, 2 cases (40%) and left atrial rupture,2 cases (40%) and right ventricle rupture. 1 case (20%). Diagnosis was made by CVP check, echocardiogram. computed tomogram in case by case. 4 cases were median sternotomy and other 1 case was left lateral thoracotomy. The 1 immediate post operative mortality rate was only 1 case (20%).-
