Two Cases of Median Raphe Cyst of Male External Genitalia

Abstract

Median raphe cyst is an uncommon disease and represents a defect in the embryologic development of male genitalia. It occurs most commonly near the glans penis, but may occur anywhere along the median line from the urethral meatus to the anus. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice. We report two cases of median raphe cyst on the ventral aspect of the penis and the scrotum with review of literature.
